The AK G3 Trigger Group from LBE Unlimited is a replacement fire control group for compatible AK-pattern rifles. It combines heat-treated 4140 tool-grade carbon steel, precision machining, and a 3–4 lb trigger pull in one complete package.
In addition, the G3 uses LBE’s No-Fumble Trigger Sleeve to simplify assembly during installation.
The AK G3 Trigger Group provides a lighter, more consistent trigger pull rated at approximately 3–4 lbs.
Its design also addresses trigger slap, which can occur with some AK trigger groups. As a result, the G3 provides a smoother trigger feel in compatible rifles.
LBE machines the primary components from tough 4140 tool-grade carbon steel. After machining, the components receive heat treatment to achieve a hardness of 40–44 C Rockwell.
This combination provides strength, durability, and wear resistance for long-term use.
Additionally, precision secondary machining maintains close tolerances throughout the trigger group. Those tolerances help support proper fit and consistent operation in compatible rifles.
Installing an AK fire control group involves several individual components. However, LBE’s No-Fumble Trigger Sleeve helps simplify that process.
The sleeve allows the trigger group to stay together as an assembly before installation in the rifle. Therefore, installers can manage the components as a single unit rather than handling each piece separately.
LBE applies a military-grade black oxide finish to the AK G3 Trigger Group.
Besides giving the components a traditional black appearance, the finish adds a layer of corrosion resistance to the underlying steel.
Certain rifles require this LBE trigger for compatibility with the Diablo Kit. For example, you may need the G3 if your rifle no longer has its stock or OEM trigger configuration.
However, compatibility varies by AK model. Therefore, check the Installation Guide to determine which trigger group your specific rifle requires.
If you own a Pioneer Arms or Century Arms AK, review the compatibility information before selecting this trigger.
For those platforms, Texas Trigger recommends the AK / RPK Semi-Automatic Fire Control Group instead. That alternative supports a broader selection of AK configurations and may provide the appropriate fit for those rifles.
